Tuesday morning, in the dark, she was completely and unable to comprehend the world that so chose to leave her for a while. Pitch black in her eyes, when she awoke all she remembered was her friends screaming, sloshing around with some messy concoction that would be classified as ‘fun’. The pounding ache within her skull made her wince and almost fall against the park bench that she was now occupying than the arms of her friends that she so apparently left. The bench was still soaking wet from the stormy weather that passed through that morning making the sky look so cold, the depressing sensation made her conclude that it was time to do something to make her happy. The rain water was seeping into her bottom and made her feel disgusting throughout like something wrong happened when she was there. She didn’t want it like this. She had no idea where she was. How she got there. Let alone, the disgusting feeling in her stomach made her question the decision of chugging down poison.

One more moan and the almost fall to the side, that would have potentially cracked her skull open on the metal railing, brought another figure in front of her. The sudden touch of an ice cold metal can touched her cheek and she screeched with everything inside her.

“Calm down and take this.” The emotionless voice that sounded over her screams brought her attention up and forward. There stood a man whose hair hung in front of his eyes as he stared down at her. The second his eyes laid into her, they penetrated her own and she shuddered. She had never witnessed eyes so deep in red that lips quivered at the thought of what exactly those eyes were finding in her eyes. The way his fist held a single can, while his hand was occupied with yet another, floated in her space but she did not act on taking it in her own. With a huff of annoyance, he dropped it so suddenly, she had to react with a squeal and catch it before it crashed on her lap. “Drink it so you can sober up.” The heat that she forgot about that so happens to creep on her in such stages, invaded her cheeks but this time it wasn’t deathly drink that she so breathed in without second thought. The man crashed down on the bench beside her upon the opposite corner, threw his arm over the back while the other brought up the open can to his lips. The features of his own were breath taking and the face that scrunched into something angry made her creep closer. Even though her body was being controlled by something unknown, she wanted to get a better look at him. “You’re lucky I found you, you looked like shit passed out on that light post.”

He had not noticed her grow in closer with the scoot of her body, but once he did he found a face bearing up at him, body twisted towards him, with hands planted on the bench in such a pose that children would do when finding something interesting. The can paused at his lips and his eyes just shifted to her, in the furrowing of his brow. “What?” There was a low growl in his voice. The closeness of her was driving him to an uncomfortable place. That face of hers was far beyond beautiful, especially when that blush that made her seem like she was thinking about him in ways unimaginable. It was no wonder when he found her inconceivable against a single light post; he took her in his arms and brought her somewhere safe.

Once the growl sent the shivers down her spine, her body shot up and the leaning back of her body, caused her to realize what she did wrong. A pout came to her lips; the childish self in her was coming back, but then again so was the ability to speak normally. “Thank you.” The way her body sunk into itself from it embarrassed stature caused little waves in her shoulders to rise and fall. He found this super beyond the controllable feeling of grabbing that face of her and planting a kiss that she would never remember. “I’m [Name].” Suddenly his thoughts were disrupted from the twist of her body back towards him but also the squirm of her speaking. The way her lips spoke her name, beckoned to him and he cleared his throat.

“Rin,” With greetings out of harms way, swigging the rest of a cold drink to bring him to his senses, he tossed it in the trash that was directly in front of him some ways and stood to his feet. He did not need someone getting to him, especially this girl. “I will walk you home.” Not even looking at her, he turned to start walking away from her. Hopefully he would keep her in the background so he didn’t have to look at such ample cheeks that reddened with the more her glazed over eyes smiled. He took a deep breath, as she gathered herself behind him. A tough task, but she wobbled up behind him and followed suit in his pace.

The way his shoulder tensed up towards the skies and a tight neck caught her view. He was just as good looking from the back than the front and what got her dazed in saunter was the dance he swayed in those stomps towards the nothing abyss ahead. He had no idea where he was going, nor did she even say where her house was, so it caused an amusement to trickle her throat with the giggles it so forced. The sudden stop of his walking from her laughter abruptly made her crash into his back and the giggles subsided when a knit grit face glared at her as if to ask what was so funny with walking in the dark. She puffed her cheeks suddenly, but the touch of him sent little electric pulses into her fingers which were causing something so much greater than anticipated. He felt it too as she gripped the back of his shirt and stared up at him with a hand covered mouth. Those eyes needed to stop looking at him like that, even if they were drowning in something intoxicating.

“Please don’t walk me home tonight. To be honest, I don’t want to be left alone. So, please don’t walk me home tonight, cause I really don’t want to go.” A plea so sweet, that it was nothing he could deny when she skipped up to kiss lips that frozen into the time of speaking that was as chilly as the sun that shined that day.

Within the Tuesday morning, completely in the dark, there was an ever so loving connection that caused him to keep her. To mold her. To even share a bed that was completely unorthodox to the thing he never wanted. The way she called his name with thrusting places, made his decision less of a burden and more of something he made right. Knowing each other for seconds on the end, did not stop actions from taking her to a place where she could never be alone and opening her up like the box she so presented to him. She was gorgeous and the more the heat rose from her breath caused more kisses to get to know the mind of the other. Completely and utterly finding out what could possibly be a vessel of all could be outcomes of any truth to be told. The opening of her, wrapped around him in a synthetic romance that he so grabbed hold on to, caused the breaking to two bodies, to be one. Whether the roughness of his subject, or the screaming of yet another dipping point of her even known ecstasy, the end was a clash of cosmetic galaxies sinking in and rushed out with no gravity.

When then all finished, two bodies slept soundly for the time being of no sun being shown. In the midst of the morning creeping up into view, she laid beside a man she so gave herself too and delved in what was beautiful. Even though his face was chiseled into ice born stone, those features relaxed with the single second of sleep. She dragged her finger tips over his cheek, right as she thought to take a picture of this face so she would never forget such gracefulness. It was wrong of her to stay any longer, even though everything inside her didn’t want to. She was abandoned by her friends on a light post after being so incoherent that they themselves couldn’t take care of her and this man decided to save her and make her his own for one night. She was proud that such man had compassion enough to hold her throughout the night, his arm wrapped around her hip gripping her into such proximity, it made her melt. She guessed within the hours she only knew him, he was only covering up everything that hurt with stronghold walls of something soft, and only she was witnessing that softness of him as he slept in a dream world far off.

Even though it was not wanted, she parted from him. Pacing around the room, up and near him, she laughed herself to something pleasant as she picked up the scattered clothes around the room. Slipping them on one by one, she never took her eyes off such supple curves of his shoulders and cheek bones. He was fascinating her, but she really had to let herself go and beyond the world she created in a bed for the hours counting down of the night. If she ever knew any better, would she let the fantasies fill her mind of them together if she stayed? But with all those things, would this have happened with him if she never went out and crashed hard to the floor so he could pick her up?

As the shut of the apartment door alarmed him awake, he sat up in the fast to look around searching for a body that gave him everything he desired and more. She was gone, though. He was dreading that the sound of the door would be her, and there was her body missing in the sheets beside still warm from a laying body that he was holding so dear. Scurrying out of bed, the love he once gave to a complete stranger, locked the door behind her and left along with the creeping of the day that rose in the sky. Running a hand through his hair, the sun crept over the top of the buildings and shinned in his eyes through the window blinding the chances of sight to come. The sudden groan of regret and pain filled the corners of the concrete apartment, but eyes wandered down to a small table where a new piece of paper laid unrecognizable. As he bent over picking it up in limp fingers it revealed little numbers with the sudden push of call me written on a surface making his eyes smile more than could have in the time so given.

Tuesday morning, in the light, a lost girl had found a cold grey sky in ruby eyes that she would never unsee even if the number written was never called to or beckoned.

Welcome to my next addition to my Melody Relay series!

:iconlaplz:

This addition was obviously written about Rin and his adorable-ness to show compassion in all the weird places.
Also writing this felt a bit rushed but that is kind of the point of writing these one-shots with the influence of songs~ :meow:

The song I chose to base this little lovely short is 'Tuesday Morning' by Michelle Branch. (Here is a link to the song!)
The song was recorded about near the end of the grunge period and as Michelle Branch was known for, she was one of those pop/grunge singers to get popular. Which is why I love her to pieces and just had to use one of her songs~ :eager:
I just adored the song and thought the story came along great.

Though some parts of me believe it was a bit, as I said before, rushed.
There's also the argument that I completely got Rin's personality wrong, but HEY! I seriously KNOW he's only a douche on the outside and is caring on the inside. So I tried my best to capture that~ ^^;

I super hope I didn't melt any of you with that little piece in the middle.
Zeus' bolt, I swear that is only the small amount that I can do.
Ugh Just wait till I get to the points where I full on have to write like that~
The Makoto one is going to be so much fun!
:iconawwloveplz:
But I hope it was enjoyable to read!

Danke Schon, for reading!!
